Box package for the chef Hak’s Dish
Designing this box was a challenging journey, with a history that was both intriguing and somewhat disappointing. My client tasked me with creating an exceptional design for a chef’s produce, but despite our best efforts, the chef did not approve of the project. However, let’s focus on the project’s challenges and the remarkable solution we crafted.
The first obstacle was to understand the information hierarchy required for the box, ensuring that the relevant details stood out while differentiating it from the previous design. The previous box featured a horizontal layout with a dominating oval plate in the center, giving it an outdated appearance.
Through extensive research and careful consideration, we devised a vertical composition as the optimal solution. We introduced a finger plate, utilizing 75% of the available space, to showcase the dynamic, engaging, and elegant presentation of the essential information. The end result was a striking design that breathed new life into the packaging.
Despite the initial disappointment, our dedication and creative problem-solving resulted in a truly outstanding and captivating box for the chef’s produce.
