Project Defense: Kukki Cocktail Range
Objective:
The Kukki brand reached out with a clear ambition to stand out in a saturated beverage market. They presented their unique selling point: high-quality alcoholic drinks made with real ice, fine juices, and fruits. The challenge was to visually communicate this premium nature while ensuring the brand remained approachable and enticing.
Challenge:
In a market where countless brands vie for attention, Kukki needed a design that spoke of its unique quality, freshness, and superior ingredients. It was paramount to create imagery that evoked the sensation of having a freshly made cocktail, even though it comes from a bottle.
Solution:
Romero Melo, as the lead graphic designer and art director, leaned into vibrant colors to showcase the natural ingredients and the variety in flavors. The visual theme consistently played with contrasts – the cold emanating from the real ice, set against the warmth of a bar or tropical setting. The label designs were kept minimalistic to ensure the drink inside remained the hero. The disco-themed caps added a playful touch, indicating the ready-to-party nature of the drink.
Result:
The result is a range of cocktail bottles that not only stand out on the shelves but also tell a story of freshness, quality, and fun. The designs effectively communicate the brand’s promise of a premium, ready-to-drink cocktail experience, ensuring Kukki makes a lasting impression in the minds of consumers.
